ViaWest 200EVB

Office Design

ViaWest asked us to help them furnish the newly-remodeled commercial building at 200 East Van Buren in Phoenix. The space was inspired by the Arizona Republic newspaper, which used to be housed in the building.

You can see subtle references to that journalistic heritage in the wallcoverings, murals, and other subtle details. The conference room was created from the phrase, “Black, white, and REaD all over.” The lobby sofa is a large modular piece that was ombred in two different fabrics. The piece creates interest while allowing visitors to easily move about the space and converse. On the 2nd floor, ViaWest wanted to create a speakeasy feeling, so EQ chose furniture that would suit the moody and dramatic space.

Intimate lounge areas are tucked throughout the space, creating a variety of private enclaves,  collaborative spaces, and semi-private quiet areas which support a range of working styles.
