A nod to mod was the concept for this Toronto office. Reflecting an era of bold color, mixed patterns and molded plastic, we created a dramatic yet minimally designed office space.

Color blocking and bright expressive patterned wall coverings were the emphasis in each conference room. The furniture throughout the office also echoes this era, with pieces such as the elongated iconic Eames elliptical table and Mad Men-esque reception sofa.

Other pieces, such the Parsons-style open work table and molded plastic, stackable orange-and-charcoal chairs, are reminiscent of the 1960s. Further visual drama is created with circular breakout lounges, which facilitate group conversation and create a dynamic floor plan.

Though small, this office boasts great character and uniqueness, while adhering to the constraints necessitated by a modest budget.
